There wasn't much of a history, it was very predictable and even boring. Nothing like the other books. I was really looking forward to listen to this character that sounded so great on book 1 and 2.

Loved Loved Loved IT!!

Nicely balanced story

The author has very nicely balanced a sweet and sexy love story with heavy themes exploring codependency and addiction. Finn and Winter are couple goals!

Both narrators were superb, and I'm especially thrilled to have discovered Andrew Eiden's vocal talents. Now I have to add Andrew to my list of favorite alpha male voices.

I most definitely would. Unrequited is a tremendously inspiring and beautifully exquisite journey of one woman who must choose whether to live her own life or continue to lose herself in the pursuit of taking care of family. Sometimes living your life for yourself is such a foreign concept when you find yourself indebted to others. Walking away from them seems unconscionable and unforgiveable. We might think we are more than happy to be there for them as much as they need, but if we are honest, we are hurting them as much as they are hurting us by depending on us so completely. They will never learn how to truly live their own life or grow into the person they were always meant to be. We can’t live another’s life just as they can’t live ours for us. A time will always come when happy willingness turns into bitter resentment, and we have to decide if we are going to break away and enjoy freedom and learn all about yourself and what you want. True happiness comes from having the freedom to be who we are and to discover and pursue what makes us happy. Well-meaning friends will try to draw us out, but in the end until you take your first step away, everyone will end up with broken hearts and hurt feelings.Winter Donovan’s whole life has been selflessly dedicated to taking care of her sister since the death of their parents. There is nothing she wouldn’t do to help her sister overcome her addictions. Her adoption into their family sits heavy on her heart whenever she dreams of running after what she loves most. They chose her and gave her unconditional love, so it’s only right to devote herself to helping her sister find herself again. The one person who could throw her world and her heart into utter turmoil marches into her life one night and everything changes. In true Winter fashion, she gives what comfort she can to Finn who is deeply hurting from the death of his father. The only thing she didn’t expect is that her longtime crush on him would turn into something neither expected but desperately need. Finn can’t believe that his world is turned completely upside down after one out-of-this-world incredible and surprisingly comforting night. Once again Winter has given more of herself then she needed to, and now Finn can’t and won’t let go of her. Can he help to nurture the courage and determination that she needs to break free and start living her own life that will hopefully include him, or will she turn her back on him forever and resign herself to a life filled with pain and loneliness?I could easily identify with Winter and where she was coming from. It’s not hard to feel the strong obligation she felt towards her sister Ivy. We all depend on our families for taking care of us, but this burden is magnified tenfold for people who have been adopted into a loving family. What she felt was completely reasonable, but she didn’t have the help of parents to guide and show her that her over-the-top dedication to Ivy was not healthy. Finn and her friends had to fill that void, but ultimately, it was Winter that had to make the decision to step away and allow her sister to stand on her own. No one could have faulted Winter for desperately wanting to live her own life apart from her sister’s destructive behavior. I truly admire her courage for finally standing up for herself. She deserved to be happy just as much as Ivy deserved to be happy. Sometimes the only thing that helps people stand on their own is to remove the last crutch that they are leaning on.I am still trying to catch my breath after this intensely sweet and beautifully heartbreaking story! Jen Frederick has stolen my heart and soul with this incredibly outstanding journey. Her words silently yet steadily wrapped around me and utterly consumed me as I watched this masterpiece come to life before my eyes. I was caught up in a whirlwind of passionate emotion and painful struggle that made me feel every superb ounce of brilliance that is this amazing work of art. I can’t wait to read whatever this author is working on next! It’s sure to be perfection at its finest.

Finn was my favorite characters followed by Winter. They were exquisitely performed and elegantly brought to life.

A heart should never be sacrificed in the name of obligation and guilt.

I truly loved everything about this wonderful story! It touched me on such a deep level, and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!
