Historia
President Bill Clinton's My Life is the strikingly candid portrait of a global leader who decided early in life to devote his intellectual and political gifts, and his extraordinary capacity for hard work, to serving the public. It is the fullest, most concretely detailed, most nuanced account of a presidency ever written, and a testament to the positive impact on America and on the world of his work and his ideals.

Russia expert Luke Harding lays out the most in-depth look to date at the Trump campaign's dealings with Russia. Beginning with a meeting with Christopher Steele, the man behind the shattering dossier that first brought the allegations to light, Harding probes the histories of key Russian and American players with striking clarity and insight. Harding exposes the disquieting details of the Trump-Russia story - a saga so huge it involves international espionage, offshore banks, sketchy real estate deals, mobsters, money laundering, disappeared dissidents, and more.

Historia
It is a chilling story that begins in the 1970s, when Trump made his first splash in the booming, money-drenched world of New York real estate, and ends with Trump’s inauguration as president of the US. That moment was the culmination of Vladimir Putin’s long mission to undermine Western democracy, a mission that he and his hand-selected group of oligarchs and Mafia kingpins had ensnared Trump in, starting more than 20 years ago with the massive bailout of a string of Trump hotel and casino failures. This book confirms the most incredible American paranoias about Russian malevolence.

Best-selling author, former White House speechwriter, and Atlantic columnist and media commentator David Frum explains why President Trump has undermined our most important institutions in ways even the most critical media has missed, in this thoughtful and hard-hitting book that is a warning for democracy and America's future. Quietly, steadily, Trump and his administration are damaging the tenets and accepted practices of American democracy, perhaps irrevocably.

French philosopher Jean Paul Sartre said that "words are loaded pistols". In the hands of Russ Baker, they are hydrogen bombs. On each and every page of his masterpiece, Family of Secrets, he explodes the myths and lies that powerful forces have perpetrated on the American consciousness. He digs beneath the surface in a form of journalistic archeology to reveal the hidden history of one of America's most powerful families, leaving no stone unturned.

Like the Rockefellers and the Kennedys, the Kochs are one of the most influential dynasties of the modern age, but they have never been the subject of a major biography... until now. Not long after the death of his father, Charles Koch, then in his early 30s, discovered a letter the family patriarch had written to his sons. "You will receive what now seems to be a large sum of money," Fred Koch cautioned. "It may either be a blessing or a curse."

Historia
In January of 1973 Richard Nixon announced the end of the Vietnam War and prepared for a triumphant second term - until televised Watergate hearings revealed his White House as little better than a mafia den. The next president declared upon Nixon’s resignation “our long national nightmare is over” - but then congressional investigators exposed the CIA for assassinating foreign leaders. The collapse of the South Vietnamese government rendered moot the sacrifice of some 58,000 American lives.

Historia
Andrew Cuomo is the protagonist of an ongoing political saga that reads like a novel. In many ways his rise, fall, and rise again is an iconic story: a young American politician of vaunting ambition, aiming for nothing less than the presidency. Building on his father's political success, a first run for governor in 2002 led to a stinging defeat and a painful, public divorce from Kerry Kennedy, scion of another political dynasty. Cuomo had to come back from seeming political death and reinvent himself.

hiatorically uncomplete / dated, in retrospect.
Have you ever watched a movie, with outdated references, phrases and out of touch references to the future? it either turns the movie into something unwatchable, or transforms it into a "cult classic".
this book is "back to the future part two" in written form. it's incomplete and incapable of accurately predicting the future we now inhabit.
In its summary of Mr. Trump, it retells old news because of when it was written. it feels like a time stamped money grab, with new revelations barely discussed given our modern turn of events.
it needs a rewrite, to include the ever changing, ever eroding landscape of American politics.

More like a hit piece than a Biography
While I am not a fan of what Trump has done in the Whitehouse I wanted to know more about the man who is currently running our country. Was he really as bad as everyone on the left says or is he as great as everyone on the right says? What I was looking for was something without the presenters opinion interjected into the facts about the president so I could work on forming my own opinion. This is NOT that book. The distain for Trump in the authors writing and the performers voice is so in your face it makes listening to the story cringe worthy. If you are looking for a non opinionated story of just facts then look elsewhere.
