The ConFed has ruled the galactic quadrant for nearly two thousand years. During that time a relative peace has been kept by threat of force from their mighty fleet. But as with all things, their dominance must come to an end.

Now that the ConFed is crumbling and their fleet is withdrawing back to the Core Worlds, the strong are once again preying on the weak. In the border regions, trafficking rings have popped up alongside the refugee pipelines making the journey for new colonists a treacherous one.

Captain Jason Burke has learned of an especially brutal cartel operating within the Luuxir Border Region and is now intent on doing something about it. The cartel has been operating in the area unchecked, but Jason and the rest of Omega Force are about to change that.

Great work on narration as always! Story seems a bit thinner than usual; bit of a rushed feel to it. Given all the setup for the next book/next Jacob Brown story the follow ons should be quite good indeed!

Another good book in this series I was a little concerned that the characters might be Coming to the end of the run but it seems like there's still some opportunities for further adventures

This was a good continuation of a long series. I am looking forward to the next installment to see what becomes of Lucky and code slicer.

The author manages to be, at once, be more sensitive and more grisly almost in the same sentence.
I note that there are more Producers listed in the credits — this is a good thing and it shows. Hopefully this will be a trend followed in other presentations.

These seem to be telling less of a story and leave holes that can only be filled by the next book or two. A little disappointed

Love the series, I will keep reading all the books until Dalzelle fingers fall off from writing them.

I don’t need the big cliff hangers at the end to set me up for the next book! I gonna get it and read it.
