Two generations of interracial love in one set!
Majoring in Love: Two very different worlds collide in 1975 at an urban university in the south. Linda and Sandy are opposites in every way, with one thing in common: an intense attraction. Majoring in Love is a coming-of-age interracial love story and is a prequel to Be One with Me.
Be One with Me: At age forty, city girl Sally never imagined she’d be all alone in the world. Following a violent attack and a deathbed confession from her mother, she runs from the only life she knows, heading south in search of security and family.
When her car breaks down at the entrance sign of the small town of Green Springs, she immediately clashes with the earnest country guy who comes to her rescue. Country guy Nolan, who lost his wife to cancer five years ago, is lonely and longing to love again. Just when he accepts that love only happens once in a lifetime, a sexy, sassy goddess rolls into town, upending his world.
Sally is laser focused on settling into a new town, new life, and new family. Nolan is a distraction she can’t afford, but an attraction she can’t deny. Nolan is sure that Sally is his second chance at life and love. Can he agree to her offer of a friends-with-benefits arrangement or will it only leave him wanting more?

Interracial love
I love the concept of this book. I haven’t read a lot of books that bring this concept up! In the first part of the book, the author does a great job of hesitancy and true love between Sandy and Linda due to time the book was written in. The author does a great job in the second book with Sally and Nolan fighting their attraction. The second part of the book brings in ties to the first part and it was a great connection. This is a feel-good story but wish it was longer with more story development to really dive deeper into the characters and more about interracial difficulties. If you are looking for a face paced book, this is it. Good read!
