From the Introduction: Many of us dream of transitioning our creative hobby into something more financially rewarding. Wow! Wouldn’t it be great to earn some money, or even earn a living doing something that we love to do? But for so many of us, following that road is more than a little scary - or we may not know anything about how to follow that road, or if the road even exists. So...we continue to create for ourselves, and to watch with quiet envy while others (maybe some who are not as talented as we are) follow their dreams, and earn money doing it. This book is intended to offer you some encouragement, and a few practical ideas for transitioning your private creative passion into a gig that earns you some money. And for some of you, it may offer a path to your dream of making a living doing that voodoo that you do.

Author/narrator Dan Gralick began playing in bands as a kid. He loved recording devices and gadgets, and as a teenager he learned his way around recording studios by hanging out and doing menial tasks for little or no pay. As a young man, he played keyboards in a highly successful bar band. Realizing he didn’t want to be playing in bars forever, Dan took a leap into the world of creating music for clients. It took him a while to figure it out, but eventually he became the owner of a New York City recording studio, and he has enjoyed a successful career creating music and sound design for major corporations. In this book, Dan shares many of the things he learned along the road to turning his creativity into cash.
