Beautiful
The story was heart-wrenchingly done, the narrator was very good.
I guess we'll never know how much we can take until we are in those situations! I guess He's more interested in our character than our comfort!

A great series
This is a great series. Be sure to start with Last light first. Terri has done a great job of depicting what the US would be like without the common convinces we take for granted each and every day, electricity, automobiles, water, heat and police. I highly recommend this series. Jack Barry Eugene, Oregon

great book in a great series
I found myself, at times, getting too into the storyline. I guess that's a compliment to a writer.

May we learn from them....
Wow. I have asked myself many times could I survive or would I crumble. Once again Terri Blackstock entertains us with a very well written story at the same time begs us to examine ourselves. I have loved this series.
