The Best of Troy

Again a great recount of the popular story. Great narration by the author SF. As Myths and Heroes is bringing the classical to a modern era without losing the essence of the story.

Stephen fry, you are a marvel.

Following up on Stephen's previous books on the series, I am still drawn like a moth to a flame to his exquisite performance and storytelling. My already strong love for Greek history and myth only grow stronger. Thank you so much. I enjoyed every minute of it.

just another amazing book by Stephen Fry who by all means should be granted Greek citizenship.

not only it makes a very well-told story compelling but his own performance in narrating this book makes it worthwhile to read and read again or listen and listen again

Good old stories

Having learnt about the old Greeks in primary school this book provides a perfect retelling of the stories refreshes my memories.
Having listened to Mythos, Heroes and now Troy, I am waiting impatiently for the next book. That would be the Odyssey.

I love this book and the other books like heroes and Stephen fry is a really good narrator

Stephen fry delivers an entertaining narrative based on Homers engrossing tale. Is it history? Does it matter?

Loved hearing the stories of Troy and Stephen Fry’s narration is excellent, he brings the characters to life in a humorous and entertaining way.

Highly recommend this volume and his two preceding volumes of Mythos and Heroes.

Fry does it again!

One cannot have higher expectations when listening to Stephen Fry and Troy, given his very exciting Mythos and Heroes books. Mr. Fry delivers and exceeds the expectations set by his previous successes in my opinion. His delivery is bar none and his take on the mythology/history is truthful and, for someone that is truly knowledgeable on the subject, his opinion is very much appreciated.
Highly recommended audiobook for everyone!
