Tired of gangs being portrayed as altruistic?
This started out as a sort about a skinwalker and ended up being about an unrealistic story about a motorcycle gang of highly educated American Indians whose real goal is to give everybody a better life.
I see this theme in the entertainment media a lot: the altruistic criminal gang. They DON’T EXIST. Even gangs that might start with ideas of “protecting their neighborhoods” rapidly become about “control and domination” of their neighborhoods, and then head straight into illegal cash flow and money laundering schemes.
I gave this book the lowest rating by far of any of in the series because of the story line. And since I’ve already purchased the entire series, I sincerely hope this type of story doesn’t become a trend.
