Interesting short story, well written with well developed primary characters. This was my first time for this author and I doubt that it will be my last. I thought it was a timely allegory about those who present themselves as something different in social media to gain"influencer" status.

what am i missing!?
There are 6 novellas in the Hush collection. This book is one of them. I didn't really care for it. I think i am in the minority here.
It was one of those books that you're staring into space when it ends wondering, "was that it!!??"
The narrator, Adepero Oduye was great though. 🤷♀️

Great
After reading My Sister The Serial Killer I knew Braithwaite was an author I wanted to follow,and this story did not disappoint. I hope she comes out with a book of short stories, they would be fantastic.

Twisted ending didn’t see coming
Liked this a lot! Very relatable plot that sucks you in within the first 40 seconds. Definitely didn’t see the twisted ending. Really Wish this author had more books available!

Just okay
This is a short story and is part of the free Hush collection. This was just okay for me; I had a hard time getting into the story line.

Wonderfully done
This was quite enjoyable! The narration was superb. I appreciated the storyline-people pretending to be someone else on social media.
