It is another Dirk Pitt story, the bucaneering and wise-cracking protagonist. Plot starts with a Egyptian/Roman discovery in Greenland, through a ship hijacking in the South Atlantic, to a mass migration incited by a mad man into Texas. Pretty exciting. The usual characters portray, but the Admiral Sandecker seems to have a more prominent role than usual. Great history lesson, too. But CC got some things inaccurately displayed.

The great storyteller

What a great story. This one just comes at you from all sides. Non stop twists and turns. Scott Brick draws you in to the story by bringing to life so many characters.

RIP Clive Cussler

One of CC best novels. Right up there with Inca Gold, Sahara, and Raise The Titanic.

Great story, but wasn't Cluve Cussler born in Aurora, Il? Why use so much British/Metric nomenclature?

In case you're wondering where to start with Clive Cussler books, I'm really enjoying the Dirk Pitt series. These books are longer (so far) with more complex story lines which I appreciate.

Good story

This is typical Cheaper well read, not shortened. I really enjoy this series, I am a right leg below the knee amputee like the chairman.

huge fan of this series. I devoured the print version multiple times. Having it read to me in a cadence brought the story to life. I waited for each syllable from the orator. great job!!!!!!!!!
