Seline Kennison has a secret crush on the huge Dark Kindred warrior, who acts as her Protector. Nox watches over her when she goes on diplomatic missions for the Kindred, and keeps her safe when they are on strange planets together. There’s just one problem—Dark Kindred don’t have emotions. So how can Nox ever return her feelings, when he has no feelings to return?

Nox, the Dark Kindred warrior, is having a problem—he has started having dreams of the curvy human woman he’s supposed to protect. And all the dreams are sexual in nature. Nox doesn’t know what to make of this—he’s never had emotions before, but the feelings of tenderness, protectiveness, and desire seem to be growing inside him, and they are all aimed at Seline. What is he going to do?

Things come to a head when the two are assigned a new mission—to go and bargain for the other half of the Far Box, an ancient artifact that is said to be able to control time and space. No longer coworkers, now they are Dom and sub, and they must play their parts as if their lives depended on it—because they do.

Author's Spice Note: Um...do I really have to say it? This is kind of a Fake Dating scenario, where the tables are turned. That part where Seline has to prove what a good little sub she is by pleasing her Master....Yeah, it gets spicy. Enjoy.

Obsessed

I am obsessed with all of Evangeline Anderson's books. I don't know that i could pick a favorite. They are all so good. It's best to read or listen in order however this one can be a stand alone. One book and you are hooked. 45 just on audio alone not counting the ones to read.

Change of Universe

Nox and Seline are on a mission to get part of the Farbox from another collector to make the Farbox whole. In the process of leaving, Seline made a comment about the Kindred saving Earth and if it didn’t happen. With the Farbox in their possession, after Seline made her comment, the couple find themselves in a another universe. Good story and good narrative.

Done with her books

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars between Kindle and Audible and have at least 3 dozen of her books from various Kindred series at this point. Guess you’d call that devotion.

I AM DONE!

There was not one original idea in this entire book: plot, storyline, or characters.

And the narration is insanely boring. You would think they could cough up the money for 2 narrators by now instead of a man who sounds like he’s trying to do all the voices reading a book to kids.

If anyone can pick out even one original thread in this entire story, please point it out to me.
