Deeply moving & encouraging!!

Ask someone who has experience being sexually abused at a young age, I felt seen within the chapters of this book. Through Zaibel‘s testimony and the way she dove into the transformative process that God took her through, I was truly encouraged to continue to go through the healing process and find community. It may be difficult initially but as the book says, there is hope! The loved the reflection questions because it helped me to process what I had just taken in and take a look within to see if I truly had worked through past traumas.

This book is a journey

Each part of the author's story spoke to my heart and spirit. I enjoyed the Bible stories it goes into, the way it was written and narrated, and I found the questions at chapter ends helpful as they made me reflect on my own past.

Most importantly, the book brings light onto the importance and need to deal with burdens from the past. The story is a testimony to the power that obedience to God has in our lives and the lives of those around us. It shows how vital it is to understand the depths of spiritual warfare in our lives, which is explained very well, and it highlights the importance of prayer and forgiveness as key.

Even though the core of the story is heartbreaking, the message in itself is one of redemption for all the people involved. It is truly a journey where the reader gets to see just how God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him.

What God has done

I love and will forever hold the story of forgiveness in my heart! The steps and template left for others to help them be set free from the shame of family secrets. Secrets buried alive are still alive. Time to get free
