If you love gore, you are reading the right book!
As an avid Horror buff, I really did enjoy this book! I love the fact that the chapters are titled after other iconic horror films, scenes were detailed so well, I felt the slashes from the clown myself! There were so slow moments where the story could have nudged forward but overall this was an excellent read!

Good teen slasher fun
It delivered what it promised. It was fun, the deaths were enjoyable, and it didn’t take itself too seriously. Managed to avoid some YA traps, and doesn’t pretend teens don’t do “those kind of things”.
Hard to take a final girl seriously when she doesn’t keep a backup phone, though.

Horrible.
The narration was fine, but the story itself sucked. Instead of horror, we have a bunch of social justice dribble, and surprise the bad guy is someone with differing political opinions.

Im falling in love with YA fiction and this book was a perfect segway to the beginning of the fall months and Halloween.
