This book was brilliant and delicious! The narrator as always was excellent and the plot line was a really happy ending . I think this is my favorite to date. Bravo and write On!

Narration was terrible. Every sentence from the narrator sounds like an overprivileged teenager who thinks she’s too cool.

The story line was so good - another great addition to the series. The ending was such a surprise! I can't wait for the next book. The narrator is also very good.

This one kept me on my toes!

If you’re a fan of Sheriff Jenna Alton and team, you know that killers flock to Black Rock Falls, where the fishing and hunting is great…be it for wildlife or humans! This time the team is after an especially brutal team of killers. Lots of mind games abound with a master manipulator behind bars.
The story is fast paced and action packed and we can’t wait for the bad guys to be caught! The epilogue is a great teaser to the next book…can’t wait.

The author got her groove back

This release has gone back to the foundation of the series. A good centralizes mystery that leaves each chapter a cliffhanger. This leaves me to finish the book in less than 2 days, but it's always the prolog that knocks your socks off. Leaving you to anticipation the next release.

This is a great read or listen. I listened to this book on Audible today and loved it. Great story line all the way through to the end. The ending was especially interesting and exciting. Cannot wait for D. K. Hood’s next book in this series!

Love this series

I love the Caine and Alton series. They are just the right blend of suspense, romance, and wittiness. I can’t wait I for the next in the series. Nineteen and going strong!
