When I say, I TRIED to get into this book, I mean it-----I TRIED (I managed to make it to chapter 12)! The accents are poorly done and listening to the narrators speak was/is borderline painful. Maybe-- forgo this on audible and just read it!

It has a good story line.
I’m fighting the urge to cringe at the mock southern accents. It’s grating. I’m from Louisiana and I’m having a hard time listening.

PHYSICALLY READ. DO NOT LISTEN.
60+ books done and this is my first review because I had to. The female narrator is absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! Never have I heard a more terrible fake “southern” accent in my life!! It takes away EVERYTHING from the story. If I was an author, I’d pull any rights of my book from Audible for allowing this abomination of a recording. Made it to Chapter 4 and I couldn’t finish it. The male narrator is horrible too but livable compared to Woodward. She’s officially black listed for any further book I’ll purchase. Audible, you should be ashamed you released this!!

Amazing Series
This is an amazing and entertaining series. As with most of the things I've had the pleasure of reading/listening to from Annie Anderson I was hooked from the first paragraph. This was no difference and left me wanting more. I highly recommend this series and look forward to reading/listening to more from Anderson.

The wrong witch
I loved the the perspective of the main characters were voiced by different people and the accents were awesome.

Weak man Nico, pretty dumb
As soon as Nico forgave his brothers and didn’t kill them like he should have, i quit really caring what he did. I kept listening, but i just wanted it to be over.
