The thing that stood up the most for me was the annoying virtual voice

I’ve come to the conclusion that I cannot stand virtual voice. She had a sing song monotone inflection that made me hate listening to it. Authors, please pay live actors to record your books. Stop cutting corners, virtual voice needs many more advancements before it actually can be tolerated by human hearing😅

Narrator read word for word without a sense of reality. Glad it was a short story.

The story was mediocre. I really don't like virtual voice. The meaning of the words are misconstrued. I will not try another one.

Automated reader was flat and detracted from the story.
Story featuring advanced elders (95 yr olds) was patiently ridiculous. Too many characters without specific need for them. 1 with ESP who was a witch? The protagonist is a 95 yr old who's 1st marriage was at 95 ran a farm by herself, was a award winning cook who also wrote soft porn - describing steamy sex scenes in her books but nothing in this story.......it's a mess.

It's a period I like reading about.

The narration was fine and I only twice noticed the A/I quality of the computer-generated voice.

I didn’t enjoy the artificial reader. The story was pretty meh. The virtual voice did nothing for the story.

Fun easy read

Enjoyed this book and all the shorts in the Tabith Clive series. I hope there are more.

The narration of this story was awful. The narrators voice was flat and seemed to drone on and on. The storyline was uninteresting.
