great stand alone novel

This audio book is exceptional sleep inducer. The bland delivery and endless, arcane dialog, combined with tediously articulated detail work with tremendous efficiency to induce a trancelike state.
Fighting the pull toward wakefulness I jumped to progressive chapters in effort to find something, anything which might catalyze synapse.
