Captivating story

So well written I didn’t want to put it down… so I downloaded the audible to finish. A story with many layers. So good!

Excellent storytelling!!!! Loved every minute of this dual time. I’ll miss these characters. Such a feel good story with depth, insight, truth, and hope.

Engaging read

This dual time story is very engaging. I’ve long wanted to visit the Thousand Islands. The word pictures Ms Dobson paints increases my desire to visit even more. The mystery of her fictional setting and characters draws you in immediately. The pace of the story is perfect for letting one’s imagination become immersed in the book’s world. A great read to get away from present reality yet learn some new history.

I enjoyed learning about the Empress of Ireland, the Thousand Islands and castles in that area and so much more! It was fun to watch all the puzzle pieces come together by the end of the story! Very good narration by Nancy Peterson! I really liked the characters! I will enjoy revisiting this story in the future!

loved this story

Time slip mysteries are probably my favorite genre and this did not disappoint. There were several twists and turns revealed at just the right time. The narrator was skillful and like a practiced waitress who keeps your coffee cup filled, unobtrusive. I highly recommend this book to you.
