Good book but…

The narration of this book is challenging. The narrators voice goes up and down so often I have to keep my device in my hand to compensate by manually working with the volume. Loud then a whisper then loud again..

Great Book

Loved it... And the theory on history matches my own... I will say no more, I don't want to spoil it for anyone who might not already know...

Great story line

Great narration. Story lie starts fast and gets better and better. I highly recommend it

One of my new favorites

Loved the whole story and the reading of the different characters was superb. I was actually sad when I was done with it but I'll be on to the next book book by the same author.

Another good P.G. novel but the narrator speaks so softly that it's at times difficult to hear her.

The narrator

Loved the story and the description of the characters and settings and the feelings of the characters.

Distracting narrator

The narrator is extremely distracting and detracts from the story. She’s so quiet with non-dialogue that you frequently miss what she’s saying. Her inflections are also odd and don’t always match what’s going on.

Good plot but different style

I enjoyed the plot however it didn't feel like a usual Philippa Gregory book. Normally her books are written from the perspective of one character. The only other book in the series I know of so far where she wrote from more than one character is The Boleyn Inheritance. In that book it's clearer when it switched. It actually stated the change. This one was a little more difficult to follow. It would take me a moment to realize it had switched characters. It was a little distracting but I got used to it.

Overall I'd listen to it again.
