Elizabeth is too stupid to live

At times Darcy is too. Not only is Elizabeth stupid but also meanly cruel and just as ridiculous as the rest of her family. She’s simultaneously cavalier and insecure about her station in life which manifests itself in her cowardly pride of resisting kindness toward her and hatefully misinterprets every gesture of kindness. She is the one who finds fault in others. She is never appreciative of all Darcy’s jumping through hoops to please her. The story goes too far in this vain. IMO, Darcy should have walked away. I did not enjoy the story but it is very well written and perhaps it could have come across differently with a talented voice actor.
