I was given the opportunity to listen to this book as a promotion of the narrator.
I was hooked right away and held on through all the turns. I was pleased that the plot would veer off from where I assumed it would go. An attention grabber for sure. I'll be having a look at some more from this author.
The narration though was excellent. Tom Jordan read this well. An easy to listen to voice, great pace, the characters were distinct, and really promoted a suitable atmosphere for each scene. I will most assuredly be listening to more from this narrator.

A Ear Jerker

OMG! OMG! I loved it…the narrator was great! So suspenseful…just when I thought it was predictable I was wrong…lol I found myself fussing at the character…lol Now I can’t decide which is best between this one and “Forty Acres”…When’s the next one?

Great book!

This book was very good. It’s scary how realistic this is. It’s what any parent would do to find the murderer of their own child. I recommend this book to adults not children. It has graphic parts. The narrator done a great job telling the story.

Very suspenseful

This book moves along pretty fast. Sure keeps you guessing and on edge of what’s happening next.

I hated the ending!!

This wasn’t a really good book that kept me on the edge of my seat. I wish the ending had been different though.

Hard to quit listening, once I got started!! Overall great book! I didn't like the start of the story of the little girl, but who does. But for the most part, it was riveting & I wanted the right person to get caught & pay...

Unkind Hours

Very tense and unpredictable. Never slow in action or suspense. This does not go the way you expect. There are surprises each and every page. Narration is great.

This book has twists and lots that I didn't see coming! The performance is excellent. I didn't want to stop listening. The narrator kept me engaged and wanting more. The story was very good!

If I could give this 10 stars, I would!!

This was by far one of the best books I have listened to in a long time! The suspense is nonstop and twists and turns at every corner. I'm usually pretty good at guessing the ending of a book or pretty close to what's coming next. Not this one! I was completely hooked and when my daughter started listening with me halfway thru, she was hooked. The ending leaves with the opening for a possible 2nd book? This will definitely be a book I recommend this book to everyone who loves mystery and suspense! The narrator did an incredible job with the differnt characters and had the right tone and inflection at the right times. He definitely brought this book to life!

Good Story with Unexpected Turn of Events

Overall a good story. It left me with a few unanswered questions and wanting to know more.
