The lioness stalks the wildebeest, keeping low to the ground, she pounces, misses and the chase begins. Or does it? Welcome to the Umbolo Valley where the lions, leopard, bat-eared fox, eagle, cranes, ostriches and black rhino and others have learned to live differently. Their daily performances are crucial to keeping the humans at a safe distance until one day, when a boundary is crossed. The animals must adapt and come up with a new plan, one that will drive the humans away forever.
Umbolo Valley is a children's story set in a realistic setting but told from the animal's perspective.
