I read this in search of Blau’s backlist.

After loving Mary Jane and loving some other of her early novels, I realized I had missed this one.

The book is true to the scene and especially Lexie’s age. Men like Daniel absolutely exist and everyone should have a friend like The School Nurse at that troubled time of life.

Just OK

It was a fast easy listen with a pretty shocking situation towards the end that made the otherwise predictable story worth listening to! Her newest release though was an unbelievable listen that I can’t recommend enough! The only reason I bought this title was because of her new book, Mary Jane, but this book didn’t even come close.

Great book from a great author

Loved it! such an easy & great read. Listened to it in 2 days, it sucked me in. Descriptions were fantastic & her writing is hilarious.

Hated the 2nd half of the story

The heroine was way to messed up for the story to be fun or inspiring to me

This book starts off slow, but stick with it! It gets good. Like a trainwreck you can't stop watching. I enjoyed this book. 👍🏻

not even worth a dollar

ugh! I should have known better, but I really liked Mary Jane. there is nothing in this story but an old trope rehashed. the characters are vapud and predictable, the story is awful

The best part is that it ended.

Some of the most annoying and unsympathetic characters. I think I fast forwarded through the second half it was that uninteresting.

Yucky characters; pointless story

Did not finish, I found the characters gross and not appealing. I loved her book about the girl Mary Jane, but the theme of cheating on spouses in this book is not appealing and gross. Yucky characters and wasted a credit on this one.
