Getting boring

I really like the series, but this chapter is boring and felt like the author was running out of steam. Talking about the steam, the Britain's seems to have been able to build steam trains, but never able to build machine guns...you know, like one thing that would solve their actual problem.

Fantastic. I need more of this. I can see what I think are some threads to either continue or have a sequel series

I liked the premise and how the story unfolded. character development was good. action scenes were tense.

Totally engrossing!

Wonderful character development and great foundation in history. I got totally pulled in. I’m sorry to have finished the series.

A Marvelous Final Episode (hoping for more)

Travis Starns must be congratulated for such an outstanding, original, and rather exciting series! Likewise, compliments and applause should be granted to Kevin Kemp, who (along with Scott Aiello) represents one of the most excellent narrators. Hopefully, Mr. Starnes will consider extending this fabulous series further to include the unavoidable confrontation with the Chinese along with a possible Britannic expedition to the Americas, thereby rendering this alternative universe to embrace the entire planet... BRAVO!!!

Conclusion of series

Completion of the story and various personalities, same format throughout the series, it was more than time to wrap this one up.

Fantastic Series

This series is a fabulous addition to the micro genre of technologically advanced person (or persons) literally or figuratively traveling back in time, trying to find their place in the “past” and help their adopted community accelerate progress in myriad areas including statesmanship, technology. The author creates interesting, substantive characters with meaningful interpersonal relationships, engaging plot lines, exciting action, with lots of interesting thought experiments upon which a reader can bring their knowledge of history, sociology, science, military strategy and tactics… to bear. As in any series, some books are more enjoyable than others, but I’m a big fan of the series. I’ve enjoyed it tremendously and look forward to Volume II of this series. For fans of Olan Thorensen’s Destiny’s Crucible series, this series is a winner.

Great final book in this series!

What a great series. I really enjoyed the level of detail associated with the discussion of the various technologies now were presented. The books also had very good character development and storylines. Very much looking forward to the Imperium 2 series.
