In this book, there are unique insights into depravity not commonly found in the more modern writings on the topic, as well as very precious truths about the finished work of Jesus in saving sinners. We are not left in despair, for the solution to our depravity is in the glorious gospel of our Savior.

Deep Material. Dry Narration.

I loved listening too this book but I thin it is one better read than listened to. It’s VERY deep material and somewhat dry and hard to comprehend by listening. Narrator was eloquent and easy to understand but came across somewhat monotone, although that could also be because of the subject.

A Timely Listen

With all that's going on in the world both Christian and non-Christian will benefit from this audio book.

If I could give it more stars I would

This book and its clear and unmistakable message is what in my opinion scores of so-called Christians are completely oblivious to. The doctrine of imputation alone is so clearly explained and the consequences of it are so strong and vast that it simply dispenses with the nonsensical notions of a God whose laws we can simply dismiss willy-nilly and live on without consequences.
Its true that this book is not ear candy. Still I would not pass up the incredible blessing of listening to this book. It is specifically aimed at the reader who really longs for a deeper understanding of things Holy from the scriptures. The chapters deal with such serious and weighty matters as how God's covenant with man, Adam's federal headship and what the consequences of his sin mean to mankind, the imputation of his failures to all of us (In Adam we died), the fatal consequences, and the enormity of the depravity of man, that it takes time to absorb and humble introspection to truly understand the incredible wisdom which is being dispensed. This is not a quick listen nor is it intended to be.
I point out that the writer makes this book a very pleasurable listen, his tone, accuracy, and smooth flow basically make the spoken contents come alive and help me focus on the topics at hand. His narration is about the best I have listened to during my 10+ years of Audible membership. If I could get all my books recast into his voice, I would probably listen more and finish many more books I started.

Finally, say what you will about AW Pink, he is an amazing teacher of the one and only truth; His many years of disciplined and devoted studies in the scriptures have illuminated his understanding in so many areas in the Word that he leaves you speechless and in awe of the one true God, and Jesus Christ his only begotten Son. We are enormously indebted to him.

Beating a Dead Horse

While I agree with a vast majority of what Pink wrote, I feel that this book could have been a quarter of what it is.
My mind was exhausted after each listening. It probably would have taken me a year or more to read the print copy.
