Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This is my 3rd listen in 2 days! I didn't listen in order as stories had different co-authors. I love what they bring to these adventures. Never boring. The dialogue is great in this one. Remy is even better in this one as co-author knows how to bring out her wit.

Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?

Well, Mr Brick is always great. His eastern European accents are so great and consistent, you feel like you are right there in the city having coffee with them.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I love the opening scenes in this book as in the other 2 I have tried. They set up the adventure and make you want to gear up and join them.

If you love a fun adventure that adds culture, travel, and a fast pace, enjoy these stories.

Clive does it again

Enjoyable escapism and a quite different plot. I again marvel at the research that must have been used to develop the conjecture that makes up Cussler's many plots. I like the way that the author seemingly supports capitalist archaeology and at the same time stresses the desire to maintain the need to preserve the antiquities for the public to see and learn from.

yes , moved along, and I could always depend on C.C. to bail them out when all looks nearly hopeless

one of the very best of the best, we are one of Scott Bricks fans, he seem to be getting better and better,( a cast of hundreds)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

for sure if I could, my wife and I would stay in the car to listen for the end of the chapter

buy it , Cussler and Perry did their home work for the historical facts, I allways learn something

great story add ending! nonstop action throughout the book. easy to listen to as well.

Best Fargo book so far!

I have enjoyed the history and excitement of these books in the series thoroughly!

A page turner of the finest action

Really great storyline of the first detail a globe trotting treasure hunt with archaeology a history lesson and intrigue.

What did you love best about The Tombs?

I love Clive Cussler. He has long been one of my favorite authros, and he does not disappoint in this book. Sam and Remi are at the top of their game.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The introduction of the dog.

Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first Scott Brick narrated book. He did a wonderful job

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

High stakes thrills! Wonderful book.

Would you listen to The Tombs again? Why?

Yes, the story is interesting in a historical and adventure sense. The characters are as with most of Cussler's characters are well defined and developed in a way that pulls you into the story even if you are not normally an adventure book series person.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Tombs?

The fighting scene in which the Fargos are using cannon balls to fight off snipers. The way the Fargos ecape the main bad guys home on horseback after using flour to cause a flash over explosion to set the kitchen on fire.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, in fact while at working doing the stocking at night my co-workers would give me funny looks because of my random outburst of laughter related to the story. I loved having the story going thru headphones as I worked through the long hours in the very early morning

What made the experience of listening to The Tombs the most enjoyable?

By Far the best Fargo book. I love this entire series, and this book is packed with action and adventure. I really, really hope that these books are made into movies, this book is just so entertaining! bravo!

What did you like best about this story?

The ending wasn't a usual Fargo ending. Just when you think the storm has calmed, another plot twist!

What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

Everything.

Best Fargo Adventure yet!

Loved it! The book is a great mix of history and action. I feel like I am getting a really exciting history lesson. The general storyline is a little predictable but a lot of fun to listen to.
