Satisfying conclusion
The four-book Scour series was quite different from the Cycle of Galand in that it did not drag on too long. The conclusion was not quite what I had hoped for, but it worked, nonetheless. The series is presented in the first person, which I personally prefer, and getting a glimpse of a young Callie was certainly fun and provided more context for Callie in the Cycle of Arawn. I am motivated to go back and re-listen to the Cycle of Arawn now. Overall, this conclusion was very entertaining with one implausible adventure after another as Callie and company try to undermine the Mallish empire. TGR was his usual fantastic self, adding depth and personality to each character as only he can. Another great performance.

Good story, but he's still a stupid kid
Even when he explains that he did something stupid because he was a stupid kid, it still annoys me. I think it's because they are usually not the kind of stupid things I did as a teenager.
Still, the overall story was good, and the writing was great. It's not the author's fault that I consider being stupid to be the worst plot device ever devised.

Ok never have one my favorite characters fell so hard into suck
Callus creepy attachment to Mila who they never really romance or flirted or anything he wa right at the end fo book 3 she was using him when convient for her
He didn’t bang her he won’t before they get married’s wtf he’s killed maybe 1000’s of people but we won’t use her for her purpose as a female and breed her wtf
She s all that matters to him but she really has no claim over that she’s done nothing to become his existence
Cally is a brilliant crafty funny person this book has destroyed him
He is absolutely pathetic “the smell of her hair “ he said that every few seconds he is PATHETIC
