Whispering, Secretive Narration
A first rate story and performance. My only complaint is that the narrator, while quite good, performs the story in a conspiratorial whisper, which I find odd and distracting. The characters are performed with nuance, the accents are believable, and overall it is worth the listen.

Great Surprise!

Good story, just too long
The story is interesting and I liked it. It’s too long, though. The middle is boring. A lot of the storyline is too predictable. The narrator is above average. She does sound mysterious and sexy throughout the entire story.

Wonderfully written and a delight to listen to!
I really enjoyed this book. Honestly I have any different kinds of stories in my library so I am not sure why I selected this particular one but it was a pleasure to listen to. If you are looking for a light drama about a woman’s journey to Istanbul in the 1950, this is your next read!
