The story of Zam Zam Water relates to the family of Prophet Abraham / Ibraheem (peace be upon him), who lived 4000 years ago. Prophet Abraham was ordered by Allah SWT to leave his home in Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq) to a desert in the Arabian Peninsula.

The story starts with the Prophet moving with his wife, 'Hajar', and infant son 'Ismail', to the Arabian Peninsula. What follows is a series of trials/challenges faced by his family with utmost trust in Allah, which finally lead to the appearance of Zama Zam Water from the ground. This Zam Zam water well is still present in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
