Thirteen-year-old Quinn Parker knows that there’s something off about her neighbors. Would have been better, shorter.
I was suckered in by the S. King endorsement; I would say this is fine for the middle school crowd but not suitable for those who have graduated middle school. I think it would have been better as a short story in a collected works.
