Somewhat different than the series
The book was excellent, but somewhat different than the other titles in the series. (I've read them all). It was more focused on other characters and less involved with the Indian culture. Still excellent and well worth the listen.

Another good Hillerman tale
The combination of Tony Hillerman and George Guidall is tough to beat. I’m rereading all the Hillerman Navajo stories and they seem even better the second time round.

Short But Sweet
One of the most satisfying books in the series. Not exactly stand alone as it's not padded with a lot of background. All the familiar characters come together for a satisfying conclusion. Provides some useful incite into the current politics of the war on drugs. Narration was superb!

Light Hillerman
Relatively light Leaphorn/Chee book with good character development. The main plot is rather slight, but still a decent read.
