Very impactful study on shepherding!
This book helped me to further feel the weight of the calling of the Undershepherd in the church. While, I don’t agree with all of the church membership focus of this book I do appreciate his view on micro and macro shepherding and the importance of it in the local church.

This is a necessary read for the Christian church
The author does a great job of discussing the biblical role of elder and shows how lacking this approach is in the modern church. It lays out practical steps on returning to biblical eldership.

very systematic
it's a little bit imaginative when considering such a supernatural problem. I enjoyed the direction to avoid treating sheep in the church like products, but most of the advice pastoral advice assumed the opposite.
