Have you ever wondered why the entire earth operates on a seven-day cycle? Have you thought about how even some of the smallest animals seem to follow a weekly schedule? This is NOT a coincidence. Our amazing God, having created this world in seven days, has implanted in living things a very tiny yet powerful gland that transfers information within our bodies—or even between species—by biochemical, neurological, or photonic means. The pineal gland is the rhythm-maker of our bodies and is a testament to the Sabbath created by God in Eden.
This seal of our Creator is non-changing and anchored in time. As you explore the various aspects of these biological rhythms in humans, animals, birds, and even in insects and plants, you will see how there is a larger purpose to these circadian rhythms. The seven-day cycle is a gift from our Creator, our Redeemer of the world, to accept His invitation to come to Him and find the REST He desires for us in these troubled times.
