Good second book

Great continuation from the first. A little slow at times but still really enjoyable. Definitely going on to the third. It’s also a very believable love story.

A Good Continuation of the Story

Over all I liked this book and am ready to get into the next one. I do think it wasn't as good as the first book but I still enjoyed it and it felt like it set up a lot of things for the next one.
I felt like the first half of the book, the writer relied a little heavily on the characters relationship drama to keep the book pushing forward instead of the action and suspense that the first book had. There was the buildup of plot throughout the book and it got more interesting as it went. By the end it did feel like the book was more interesting and had a better pace. I do love that this author seems to be able to think outside the box about how this world works. I also appreciate how consistent and likeable the characters are. I am excited to read the next one.
