A 1,700-year-old Roman, Quintus Livius Saturnius had a different view of morality than most people. Killing Matheus and hijacking his undead existence seemed perfectly acceptable to him.

at thirteen hours long? No. I listenened to this on the way to work in the car. I like the suspense of waiting to see what happens next during the day (my job sucks, but that's another story...)Any additional comments?
This book is black, brutal, BRUTAL, noir, hard-boiled. This ain't your weak tea "hard-boiled" you see in an airport book rack. This sh*t's the real deal--raw, gritty, nasty. Don't go on this ride unless you're prepared to look into the abyss.Black. Bitter. AWESOME.
