Acerca de esta escucha

The Science of Economics is a complete and thorough presentation of the principles of economics. Integrating various schools of thought (classical, neoclassical, Austrian, Georgist), this full-spectrum treatise on economics delivers a comprehensive yet concise education in economics. Readers will learn how to analyze issues and formulate remedies for our social problems. The Science of Economics delivers a depth, breadth, and fervor for social progress that is rarely found in other economics books.

The Science of Economics covers a multitude of topics in economics, including:

  • The foundational premises of economics.
  • The ethical basis of a market economy.
  • The significance of the three factors (land, labor, and capital goods).
  • The time origin of interest.

I am interested in economics. I was wondering why Austrian economists were able to predict the 2008 recession. However the author Fred is the only person who predicted the 2008 real estate crash a decade before it happened. In 1998 he predicted the 2008 real estate crash.

He was able to predict it by combining Henry George & Mises together. This book covers that. It explains a lot of background as well.

If all you understand is Kensyan economics or Friedman. Give this a try. Should help you understand that the boom and bust cycle is abnormal. And also explain why everyone but Fred and a few others keep getting it right
