Great read, clever, amusing story

This is a wonderful Victorian romp, complete with delightful characters, clever plot twists and charming language, well read by the equally wonderful Jayne Entwistle.

Gotta love Jane Entwhistle

My daughter and I love Entwhistle's reading of the Flavia deLuce books and were delighted to find this. Very entertaining story.

A Victorian tale for modern girls

I’m not sure how I came to purchase this story which is aimed at young readers, and I am glad I did. The young lady protagonists are charming, and the story of murder and mystery is engaging. A very enjoyable listen!

Excellent

An excellent book for teens and loved by the parents too. The story is engaging and full of interesting characters and plot.

Surprisingly good

I wasn't sure I would like this recommendation, and I loved it. the narrator is quite good at all the voices, and the story starts a bit quiet, then suddenly, it moves fast, as if you missed something, but you didn't. Once it gets moving, you have to keep listening to find out where it will stop. I was very entertained.

I love this book and enjoyed the personality details for each young lady and their “scandalous” ways
