Ireland, 1879. Maura Doyle has always felt she was meant for more than her life as a poverty-stricken farmer’s daughter in County Laois could provide. This book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The voice of the narrator was perfect for this story. I can’t wait for the next one in this series.
