Peabo is a former Special Forces soldier trapped in a world that isn't so different than the one he'd left. Except that in this world, some of the laws of physics seemed to have been tweaked. He's also known as a plainswalker, yet nobody seems to fully understand what that means.
In this world, there are a few people that have gifts that grow over time. And during the last handful of months, Peabo's strength and speed have increased to a new level. A level that brought with it the nosebleeds, and they are killing him.
On death's doorstep, Peabo is brought to a place called the sage's tower; a place known as a repository of ancient knowledge and where assassins are trained in the dark arts of their craft.
It is here where Peabo's world is turned upside-down.
The Sage's Tower is a story about a modern-day soldier coping with a situation that will either kill him or turn him into a weapon this world hasn't seen in thousands of years, if not longer.
For Peabo, he's not so sure that surviving is the better of the two options.

Phenomenal World Building ❣️❣️❣️
I recently discovered M A. Rothman books. I thoroughly enjoyed book 1 and 2 of the “Plainswalker Series” This book reads as science fiction with a big hint of real life science. I hope there will be a book 3 soon. I’m really looking forward to it.
