Interesting and powerful perspectives

While I've always believed that secular work has Kingdom impact, the author really breaks that concept down to align it with scripture and solidify it. I've recommended this book to many people and have heard similar feedback from them.

The length is just right. So many books are expanded with unnecessary filler chapters to get to a certain length, but not this one. I appreciate that, especially when it comes to audio books. It's a little harder to skip ahead when you can't scan the chapters in advance.

I have journeyed through my entire life and career desiring to be successful and make an impact professionally, but not knowing how to proactively reconcile that with my desire to serve God and serve others.

As an Enneagram 3 “successful achiever”, this book spoke directly to my core inner desire to succeed, but helps reframe our mindset as Christ followers by focusing our motives on giving all Glory to god while simultaneously giving permission to pursue the hope and joy found in eternal rewards.

Really wanted to like this book. Tried and tried but had to give up. Author and his style just say a lot without making much progress on informing the reader.
