True Crime Horror

If you are fan of true crime books, you can't go wrong with a book by Ryan Green. Impeccable writing more in the style of a novel brings the story to life and even though you know the ending won't be pleasant, you can't look away. This collection contains horrific crimes of sexual deviance, child murder, serial killers and deadly killing games.

Mr. Green always delves into the past of these killers but does not try to justify their crimes by blaming the parents or their circumstances. I always appreciate the way that Mr. Green brings personalities to the victims of these crimes so that they become much more than just a name on a page. Too often when you read true crime, the victims take a backseat to the killers. These stories are told in a manner that is almost like reading a novel instead of just stating cold hard facts. The opening chapters always draw the reader into the truly terrifying moments of the victims and the action never stops.

The narrator is perfect for this type of book, with a clear voice, perfect timing and "just the facts" style of performance.

No one can bring the machinations of a disturbed mind to life quite the way Ryan Green does. Each story is vividly depicted with a well-organized account of the subject’s life and crimes and each story offers a haunting look into the depraved depths to which some individuals, for whatever reason, may sink. All the stories are true, all are horrifying, and all will stay with you long after you finish listening to this collection. If you have an interest in history, criminology, or criminal psychology, I recommend this volume as a must listen. The narrator, Steve White, proves once again to be the perfect choice for this material with his smooth, flawless delivery of each story.

Great book

this book has a good pace to it without leaving out interesting and pertinent information. I highly recommend it

Poorly done True Crime

Lazy writing. Do not waste your credits or dollars on this book. I did not enjoy. Narrator is good, story is short and not factual told. Lots of embellishing
