Best one yet!!

I didn't think the Strike series could get any better but, boy, was I wrong! I really enjoyed this roller coaster ride. So many twists and turns and WOW!What ending!! UPDATE: Two weeks later and I'm STILL thinking about it!

I like this book series

I like this book series and I was looking forward to listening to ‘The Running Grave”. This was best book so far in the series.

A Boatload of Exposition then BANG!

I enjoy long books but trembled a bit a 34 hours. No worries. Well worth my time to enter a world built so completely. No spoilers. Just read it.

Loved it!

I loved this book not only for the genius plot but development of much beloved characters. Well worth the long read/listen to the very end.

Love Glenister

I really enjoy listening to Robert Glenister. He does such a good job of giving each character their own voice and intonations. Enjoyed this latest installment of the Ellacott/Strike too.

What a ride!

I loved this book from start to finish. The writing was so powerful. I felt suspended in anticipation until the last page.

This is one of the best detective novels I have ever listened too. The narrator does it justice, excellent narration . Cannot wait for the next book.

Another amazing book in the series. The plot was very detailed and Robin strike are the perfect team.

The Best of All

This book is so wonderful. It's a great adventure. JK Rowling is a genius. Her character development is superb. There are some very scary chapters but then she balances this with plodding, but very insightful detective work. I was so appreciative of the balance. I felt connected to the characters and very invested in their success. I listened while walking and my neighbors probably thought me a bit loopy because I was talking to the book...Oh no don't do that.....Oh look behind you. I felt that I was there and I really cared. That is her gift.
