Books get better the further in the series

Surprisingly the books get better further into the royal ranger series. It was a pleasant surprise .

Outstanding

He has done it again! Very tactics heavy but a good addition to the series.

The intertwined story line

Brilliant as always. I can only hope more are coming soon. This is a great series

It was very good just one thing

It was a great book just like all of the books in the series but I think the characters were nerfed a bit. But besides that very good book!!!!

Great storyline as always

Good reunion of characters, exciting and fast paced action. Always sad when I finish the book, as the wait for the next one begins!

This is one of my favorite series. John Flanagan weaves a wonderful story. John Keating as a narrator is excellent. It is always good to spend time with Ranger Will Treaty and Ranger Maddie.

I love the whole book and I love the plot.

Lacked personality

It was a great story like usual, but lacked the wit and banter that I crave with each Rangers apprentice book. It's still a good book, and worth the read, but I prefer every other book in this series.
