The Russian accent.
I really like this narrater but the Russian accent was terrible! I had a hard time focusing on book because of it. Liked the story though.

Terrible voice!
The main character is supposed to be a prince and it sounds like an old lady with a sore throat. It ruins the whole story.

I would’ve given 5 stars if it weren’t for the narration. The story was almost perfect. I love the idea of the Russian accent but it sounded a bit odd and not as masculine as I would’ve liked. Sure there were a couple times I thought she was being a bit stupid for her decision for not being with him but she overcame it quickly. I love how powerful and confident he was. The sex scenes were very steamy! I also enjoyed that the conflict in the story didn’t revolve around some villain trying to kidnap or kill one of the characters. That story gets old and sometimes feels too much like another book and not a romance. Stacy Reid has done a great job with this book as she had in her other books. Highly recommend.

Horrible Russian accent
I enjoyed the idea of the Russian prince; however, his voice was that of an older sickly man. Her voice was too soft. They weren’t compatible.

The Russian accent
I am a pretty tolerant listener. This accent was abhorrent. Old decrepit man with maybe a toad type accent? So bad.

Awful depiction of Russian accent
I have enjoyed all the other books in the series and was looking forward to the final book. Overall, the book was good due to the storyline however it was cringe worthy to hear the narrators depiction of the Russian accent and tone of voice altogether. It was incredibly distracting, though I did get through the book and I’m happy that I did because it was a good storyline.
