Sweet and funny

Loved the characters and the Grandmother’s take on life. An HEA with true life circumstances.

Fun romp with the retro elements!

I spent years watching those retro movies with my mom and grandmother, so seeing someone else enjoy them and pull the elements into a modern rom-com just tickled me pink. I’ve recommended this cute book to my young daughter-in-law!

What A Ride!

I love the premise of the story. I love the characters in the book as well. The author had all the ingredients to have a an awesome story that kept me on the edge and tug at my emotions.

Great writing, and great narration!

I love Devon Daniels style and these two narrators always do a great job of bringing it to life. Hope she keeps writing more!

Amazing!

I’ve been thinking about reading this book for so long and finally decided to do so and am so glad I did. It was so good and I loved the 50’s aspect of it and the fact it referenced one of my favorite movies intensified my love of this story. Please give us another story soon!

I love the games between the leads!

The Rom Con written by Devon Daniels. This is a great book! I love the sneaky way that she kept referring to the 1950’s manual and just dragged him along with her! It had me captivated and grinning from beginning to end!

Smart and sweet!

Similar vibe to Meet Me in the Middle. And I love it when rom-com books are about rom-com writers: the self-awareness is really fun. BP is fabulous in narration, as always.
