Twisty Rock 'n Rollercoaster Ride--Loved it!

This is my first book by Penelope Ward. I really enjoyed it. At first, I didnt think I would because of the larger age gap (15 yrs), but Emily is older than her 22 yrs because of things she's had to deal with in her teens. I loved the characters of Emily and Tristan. They connect early on by confiding in each other about some pretty big secrets. But Emily still has one secret that flips their worlds upside down. I found it to be wonderfully twisty, but also heartbreaking for a while. Everything comes to a completely satisfying conclusion that literally takes you to the very end and the last word. I loved it!!

I bought the book because Connor Crais is my favorite narrator. He narrates with Andi Arndt and they are superb in this! It's truly a talent how they are able to be so expressive with just their voices, and I am in awe! They are both so easy to listen to, and time just seemed to fly. I could not put it down and finished in a single session. Complete enjoyment!

Amazing!

What an amazing story and turn of events! Their love story is so swoon worthy and just true true heart warming. This book is a must read!!!

Emotional

This story is beautiful I can’t stop thinking about it. I feel a lot of emotions in my heart now …Thank you Penelope Ward ! This is much more than rockstar story! I love how you showed us the healing process both of your main characters and I wish it could be so smooth in real life too …Beautiful book!

this book was so good I loved the the storyline I loved the characters the narrator but I especially loved how it ended and the little twists you know twist and turns of the book really excellent job with this book

What a Story

The story's characters are the best. Both the H/h are believable and endearing. They both pull the listener in and hold their attention through the entire story.
The two narrators do a wonderful job making everyone come to life! The different voices, especially Arnot's, are perfect for creating an image in the readers' minds as they listen.
Looking forward to the next book.

WOW!

I can't even express how much I enjoyed and loved this story! I laughed and cried and just couldn't get enough of Tristan and Emily. Plus this is the first audible that I've had the pleasure of listening to Connor Craise...OMG! He has now been added to my favorite male narrators along with Sabastian York and Zachary Weber! And, of course, Andi Arndt is my absolute favorite female narrator! Well, done Penelope! So excited for Atticus' story in February. Thank you for never disappointing me. ❤❤❤

That was so good!

I wasn’t sure what to expect as Ward is known for exploring forbidden romance. Boy, am I glad I read it. First, the narration is superb. The narrators are incredible and the editing and production was seamless (no weird pauses or background noises). The story is so good and the twist was just chefs kiss. I had no idea where things were going, which kept me glued to the book. The FMC seems way more mature than her years but once she explains her past you can see why. I loved this book! 10/10!

Unexpected twist

Good storyline, not predictable, and complex characters made this a great read. I look forward to reading the next one.
