Captivating

I picked up The Regime at someone's house and didn't realize it was part of the Left Behind series as a prequel. After I purchased it with an audible credit I was able to switch that to The Rising. Anyway, this book was captivating to say the least. I enjoyed the narration and the story. I can usually predict how things are going to turn out in fiction novels, but this one was quite the challenge and kept me guessing. Now I have to decide if I want to wait to earn another credit for book 2 or if I want to purchase one for 14.00. I probably won't wait! I have to know what happens next! FYI- I've never been interested in the Left Behind series, but now I might have to read all of them!

Different for sure!

This book is NOT like the others. But if you like me hand have listened to all the rest why stop now! I really enjoyed it. Spooky for sure. Felt empty without Christ in it. Really eye opening. Wow well worth it. But do not listen to it until after you have listened to the first books

Surprisingly good.

Where the last few books of the original series slipped into a la-la land of forced solutions and spread out plotlines to fit the 12 book target, this book feels free of any "pace quota", and I hate to say it, but it's refreshingly dark. Carpathia & co. seemed like charicatures of evil -- Bond villains -- in the original series. Here it's as if the LB world has been re-imagined and the dark side given some teeth. Great litrature? Nope. A page turner... well a "keep-your-iPod-handy" kind of audiobook? Yep.

These books keep me humble & ready for Jesus's return!!! Praise God for the writers, for all their hard work and the actors that brings it to life for most people.

Great Prequel to a Great Series

I truly enjoyed this Prequel that explains how the Anti-Christ comes to power and the background stories of many of our beloved characters from the Left Behind series!

Great addition to the series. Wasn’t expecting this but they delivered once again. Thank you to the authors for another amazing addition.

Excellent book

This book didn't let me down...it was just as compelling as the books before it in the "Left Behind" series. You won't be sorry that you got this one. It is so action-packed, that I couldn't stop listening!
