A short yet well covered guide what to expect when becoming a father

It’s a great a summary of topics that father might have to be aware of

very informative and helpful

as a 1st time father to be I feel this book has done a great job of laying out the path ahead and a decent set of tools tk help you navigate that path. Definitely worth the time.

Great book for dads by a mom

I thought this was great for my husband to read. Of course I listened in because I want to see what info he was given (haha)… and I’m glad I did because I learned some stuff also. The narrator is a bit hard to keep your attention but I promise it’s worth it. I recommend to all soon to be dads.

A very helpful book for beginners

Great comprehensive material that touches on lots of different aspects! While at times while reading this book it made me feel unprepared, it helps shed light on all the things to be prepared for. Great voice actor!

Great resource for new dads

This book is specifically designed for new dads, which is great. This one gives a good breakdown of planning factors, mixes humor, and also tells what is happening to the expectant mother and developing baby throughout the pregnancy. Would recommend to first-time dads like myself

So far so good

Future dad who has some baseline knowledge…. This book was in keeping with what I know. I have another 7 months to see what all applies.

I will say there was some weird parts where talking about the second trimester having a nursery and all the supplies in place. Im not against stocking up, but this guidance felt poorly placed in the timeline. Again, that remains to be seen🤷‍♂️

I learned a lot from the book and I feel better prepared. Highly recommend it!

condescending af

Super condescending to future fathers. It talks to future fathers like they are todlers need to be coddled and talked into "manning-up" for their partners. If your partner is committed enough to seek out this book or read it on someone's recommendation, then they are likely committed enough that they will also find it condescending. I wish I could return it, but audible won't let me for some reason.

Easy going book

Very informative on important matters of early pregnancy and fatherhood roles. This book gives you stress free guidance on first time Dads.
