Narration

I don’t mind Alex Judd’s male narration for Mica, but his female narration irritated me. He made her sound like a dits. I read the book before I listened and in no way did she sound weak or whiny, but that is the way she comes off.

The male narrator is killing my vibe

The book great. The female narrator great. The male narrator pretty good until he starts voicing the female lead and then I wish I had just got the kindle version. He manages to make her sound so whiny and obnoxious that I like her so much less than in chapters from the female perspective. It’s a real bummer.

I loved the story but hated the whiny tone Alex gave Charlie. I will definitely be reading more from Odette.

Honestly didn’t think it could get better with each book in the story but this has been hands down my absolute favorite of the series!! I would definitely listen to this again!

good story but

I didn't like the very detailed sex scenes. the ending was too short. try using other words except f... pu...co.. and when the guy tried to talk like the girl it was weird.

OMG my emotions were all over the place! such a good story! I was holding my dog when all the action with Sniper went down and I gasped out loud and squeezed my dog lol he was not thrilled. I'm glad the guardian angel was there for Charlie in the end

I was expecting more ☹️

TBH i ate up the first and second books, also this one, but the story and characters development wasn’t as strong as the other ones.
Mika and Charlie voice narrators were doing an amazing job with the Russian accent 🤌🏼

Criminal Minds Meets Hockey Romance

This is a suspense romance with a bit of comedy thrown in for levity. It is a unique take on the fake marriage with a Criminal Minds feel.

I love that I read Dark Russian Angel before this book. Even though it's not in this series, it has Charlie and Micahs story. You can read it before or after this one. I love how each book plays into the next in each book in this series. I loved Micah's character before this book so I was so excited to hear more about him. Love the twists and excitement at the end. I loved that Charlie wasn't on birth control. Which was different than the other two female characters in the series. Now I want Krista set-up with someone. She is a doll.

I use to be engaged to a man who was from Russia. He had a temper. But he was very possessive and loving (at times). The mom dynamic all felt so real. Especially knowing how my ex's mom was. But this story made me happy. I think Micah and Charlie have been my favorite couple so far.
