A twist in the story!

This was a great book. I wasn't expecting the plot twist. There were times I didn't want to stop listening, but had to. Nicely done!

Good but Mixed

Good story, and different, not like so many other stories. It was slow to get into, but then became very engaging. The Marion chapters were well narrated, but so so repetetitive, all inner feelings and thoughts, I had to fast forward because each Marion chapter was the same, with little or no actual movement of the plot. Very little, if anything actually happened. The "him" chapters were the most engaging. His narration was excellent, and the narrator captured the character perfectly. The him chapters were also, in my opinion, the best written and carried the story.

The ending was mixed for me. I was not happy with one very important thing. I can't be specific without giving anything away. I was very much hoping for a different outcome on that element.

Excellent story

This book gripped me in as soon as I started listening. It’s so good! This is my first time listening to an audio book and I will definitely listen to more from this author. This book is very well written and articulated. Listening almost made me feel like I was watching a movie!

This story had me captivated from the beginning. The narrators did a fantastic job at telling this story in a way that brought the words to life. Absolutely 10/10 recommend.

I Ioved that they used proper Derry accents, too.

This was a good book. I liked the suspense and the love that mom had for her daughter.

Very much enjoyed this story. It kept me on edge until the end. A very good read on an October night.
